The Brooklyn Heights Improvement Association will hold a community Clean-Up Day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Dumpsters will be located on the parking lot of Park Elementary School. Residents may take old furniture, tree limbs, leaves and other general household and yard debris. Items such as tires, oil, old appliances, paint or other hazardous materials can not be accepted.

The association is in need of volunteers to lend a hand with the event, whether it would be for an hour or for the entire day - no volunteer will be turned away.

The school is located at 201 E. 11th Ave.
