NEW YORK-Technology in basic bedding products will again be in the spotlight at next week's home textiles market here. From contour innovations in latex foam to new fibers and construction techniques, the vendors' focus is on comfort and better sleep.

Along with technology, vendors said they are working on new approaches to better communicate with retailers the benefits of using their products. Sleep Innovations revamped its Novaform Gel product program introduced last market to give a clearer picture of its products' benefits and attributes through packaging, material samples, store fixtures and brochures.
